Brandon stood outside the popular club, he hated going out to clubs but mostly hated the people that went out to those clubs. It was a cool night so he had on his favorite leather jacket on. He looked around and then looked down at his watch and looked it was only eleven o'clock and he knew for the part scene this was early.
He looked back and took a couple steps as the line moved forward. He wanted to get out of the long line and blink himself home, but he was on a mission and it was stand in a line or die. He was no fool he choose the line. He had wished that he could go to their restaurant, but he was just getting off work and it had closed. But he was in the line now and was glad as the line was moving he was almost inside when the line stopped with him at the front of the line. He stood they with a frown until he was finally inside of the club.
When he took his first step he was so glad for the new found heat of the club. He looked around as he tried to spot one of many targets. A devilish grin took over his face as he saw one at the bar. He casually walked over to the bar and found one empty seat. He looked at the girl She does not look that powerful or threatening thought Brandon as he stared at her. He could easily get her attention but he wanted her to come to him, so he was going to wait until she noticed him.

The place was packed. It was more crowded than Lizzie had seen it in awhile. Must be because the band playing tonight was one of the hottest bands at the moment. She wiped her forehead and looked out over the crowd. It was getting a bit ridiculous. She knew that her dad had already had to shut the front doors for awhile. The place had reached it's compacity limit. Lizzie was filling out drink orders with record speed. It was a good thing that she had perfected this art. She smiled warmly to everyone, even though all she wanted to do was ignore them and go home. She had a lot of homework that was going undone tonight. Oh well, she thought as she turned back to the bar.
That's when she saw him. There was a guy sitting at the end of the bar and he was looking right at her. Must need a drink, she thought noting the empty bar in front of him. She made her way over to him, ducking around the other bartenders on her way. "Hey there. Can I get you anything?" She asked politely, but she sighed inwardly. Those words were so imbedded in her brain that she thought about them in her sleep.

Brandon saw that she was tired and i amused him, why was she using up so much of her energy and time at this job. He was surprised that it took her longer than he thought to notice him, but he had to admit it was very busy tonight. He still had managed to get her attention with movement or word. His plan was going smoothly as he expected, as she walked towards him he tried to stop the laugh that wanted to come out. But he held strong. When she asked him the question, he knew it was the one for everyone that came to the bar. That was not a good sign for Brandon, but he was going to change that very soon. Brandon gave her a smile and leaned over closer to her so that she could him over the music.
He hated the loud music in his ears and wanted to put a finger in each one. But he did want to look like some wierd guy so he endured the displeasure. As he replied the weak smell of her perfume made him think of his past life."Well all I want is a vodka on the rocks and your phone number . He smiled as he pulled back. He looked at her and half hoped that she would make this easy for him, but he knew the chances where that she would not. But he was still going to try, it could not do any harm. It would eliminate something that would not work and open him to more that would.

Lizzie froze, surprised. That was one of the last things that she had expected him to say. He couldn't have surprised her more if he said he wanted to kill her. Well, maybe. It wasn't entirely surprising. She was constantly getting hit on in the club. By drunk men mostly who couldn't find a girl to save their lives. It ususally pissed her off, but tonight she just didn't have the energy. Plus, he was kind of cute and he didn't seem like one of those over pushy rapist types. Though, she still wasn't giving him her number. She wasn't stupid.
Instead, Lizzie flashed him a dazzling smile and reached under the bar pulling out a bottle of Vodka. She put ice in his glass and poured the drink for him. "I don't think so." She said, still smiling, "I don't usually give out my information to the public."

He let a small sigh at the gentle rejection, but Brandon was not going to give up."Well it is good that you do not just give it to anyone, but i am not just anyone." "I am the man of your dreams, but you can Brandon for short." stated Brandon with a half smile. He felt a tiny bit corny for saying it, but he had to say things that she normally did not hear or at least he hoped not. He was going to see what she replied to that, and if it was another rejection he had just the thing for her.
As he looked at her he could not shake this sudden feeling, ut he could not place it. He quickly tried to push the feeling aside but he could not, out of the corner of his eye he saw a familiar face. He turned his attention back to the Halliwell that he was trying to seduce, and took a huge gulp of his drink and handed back."Can I get another?"

Lizzie knew she should just walk away and let the guy go hit on someone else, but she just couldn't make herself move. Not because she was infatuated, but because she was amused. This had been one of the most interesting conversation she'd had in about a week. Which was saying something, seeing as how they had only said a couple of sentences to each other. She smiled again, "The man of my dreams, huh? Do you have any idea how corny you sound?" She stifled a laugh with a bit of effort.
Lizzie reached for his glass and pulled back out the bottle. She poured him another drink. She was slightly intrigued by this man, though she couldn't explain why. He seemed to radiate a sense of danger. That's just ridiculous, She told herself. "Here you go." She said out loud this time, handing him the drink.

He made himself blush at her statement. She was no being that forth coming or flirty like he usually had girls. But at least he was gog to have a little fun tonight. "Thanks." stated Brandon as he took the drink and took it down as quickly as the first one. "That was kinda corny, well how about I make it up to you with dinner or something?" asked Brandon. He was happy for the challenge at least it would keep him on his toes. But it also would mean putting in time, which he was not looking towards.
The band had started a new song and Brandon winched at the start of it. He hated the song, it reminded him so much of his father. But he had to push his feelings aside for the night. He looked back over at the brunette, he tried to look and see if he could see her name tag or something."It isn't very fair that you know my name and I don't know yours, unless you preer the name beautiful. Brandon felt a bit stupid and forced the rest of the line out of his mouth with a smile.

Lizzie grinned to herself. This guy was persistant. She looked over her shoulder at the other bartender. She wanted to continue this conversation, but if her dad caught when she was supposed to be working, she would be in trouble. "Hey Bart! I'm gonna take a break, alright?" She called to him. He just shrugged. She took that to mean ok. She reached under the bar and poured herself a drink. Then came around in sat in the empty seat next to Brandon. "How's this? I'll think about it and get back to you before you leave." She said, in reference to his asking for dinner with her. She wanted to make sure she knew his character a little better first. It wouldn't be the first time she'd made a mistake.
Lizzie laughed and took a gulp of her drink. "The name's Elizabeth. Though, most people just call me Lizzie. It's easier that way and I prefer it." She said, looking up at him and smiling again. She was doing quite a lot of that tonight.

He gave off a little chuckkle that Brandon hoped that she did not hear. He had her now, as she poured her drink he made a quick glance to see if the same demon was watching. He turned back towards her as she took a seat next to him. He raised an eyebrow before replying, "Well will keep my fingers crossed, but at least I have your attention right now."
"Lizzie?" "Well I like it, its very you." stated Brandon with a smile. "So what is it like working here? asked Brandon pretending to not know that her family owned the place. He was going have to watch what he said, because he wanted to come off like some random not someone who had been told almost6 everything about her.

Lizzie thought she heard a chuckle, but realized that she was probably just imagining things. It was hard enough to hear yourself talk in this place. "Yes. It seems you have succeeded in winning my attention. Nice job." She complimented him with a wink. It was easy for Lizzie to talk to guys. She got along with them better than girls. Though, sometimes she got tounge tied. She was glad that it wasn't happening tonight.
Lizzie rolled her eyes. Everyone said that. Her name gave her some grief once in awhile. Especially when people decided to call her lizard. One boy had actually drawn a picture of one and stuck it to her back in school. His hair had myseriously turned blue. Lizzie had refused to admit that it was her that cast the spell. "It's fine most of the time, but when it's packed like this it's just a huge pain. Most of the time I'd just rather go home to the quiet and have some alone time." She told him, wishing she could go home now. "So, what do you do for a living?" She finally decided to throw a question back at him.

"Well thank you very much for giving me your time." stated Brandon as he smiled brightly at the wink form Liz. He turned in his chair to face her. He notice up close she even more beautiful that he thought . Which was good so he would not have act an attraction to her. He listened to her response and shook his head up and down. She seemed lie a very open person, he had picked the perfect sister."Alone time is always good in moderation, but so is spending time with the opposite sex." stated Brandon in response to her statement.
"Well i work at the Bay Mirror, I want to become a writer for the paper one day." stated Brandon proudly. He was glad that she had finally started asking him question; it was a sign that she was warming up towards him.

Lizzie grinned. "You're very welcome. I'm always up for a distraction." She laughed lightly. For her, distractions were easy to come by. She swore sometimes that she had ADD. It would explain her attention problems. She only seemed to be able to focus on something when it was either interesting or threatening her life. Or both. "Time with the opposite sex is good. Sometimes. Like when the opposite sex isn't being a royal pain in the--. Well, you know what I'm getting at." She added with a grimace. Men could be quite annoying. But then again, she also knew that women could too.
Lizzie smiled in surprise. "That's cool. My dad's cousins work there. I guess you could call them my second cousins. They are writers." Lizzie looked over at him again. Her look was calculating. "You like to write? I guess that's one thing we have in common. Though, I doubt that I would make a living out of it. I'm not that good." She laughed at herself. It was true. Her spell work wasn't the best. Neither were the writings she did that were completely unrelated to witchcraft. Though, she still loved to do it.

"I am sure you are good, besuides anytime you like something it should not matter what others think. It should be a way to express yourself." stated Brandon with a light smile. He looked at her and just wanted to blow her up right then and now to get things over with. But part of him was intrested in talking to her. He could figure out why he was so intrested in her, but it would come in handy for his act.
Brandon leaned in closer and began to whisper in her ear,"Maybe if you act right, I might write something about you Liz. His low sexy tome was meant to turn her on and still intrigue her at the same time.this is going to be easir than i thought.[/color] thought Brandon as he pulled back only a little bit and stared into her eyes.

Lizzie sighed. "I guess you're right on that one. It really shouldn't matter what others think. Though, I still don't think I could go public with it." She laughed lightly at herself. It was so true. She wasn't really a shy person, but sometimes she could be when it came to displaying her talents. Of course, that didn't apply to kicking some demon butt. Lizzie was always happy to show off with that. Though, she couldn't show off to many people.
Lizzie froze when Brandon whispered in her ear. She was so not expecting that. An involintary shiver ran down her spine and she tried to supress it as much as possible so that he wouldn't notice. She told herself not to blush over and over again, but her face didn't want to listen. The heat rose slowly to her cheeks. She shook herself mentally to regain her composure. "Let me guess. Acting right includes dinner. Doesn't it?" She said, giving him a somewhat shaky smile. She didn't know what the heck was wrong with her.

Brandon gave a sweet smile, or at least his attempt at one. He gave himself a mental slap on his back for a job well done. He had not expected to get such a big response from Liz, but he thought it was very amusing how she tried to hide it. "Well, that is a huge art of it, so we can get to know each other." "Then maybe you could become my muse for some new work." stated Brandon in a flirty tone. "And if you play your cards right, you might could have me in the palm of your hand." said Brandon thinking about if he played his right then it would be the other way around.
He was starting to enjoy himself with her and was still not sure why. She was very beautiful, and so where her sisters. But it was something about her that made him choose her for his target. AT the moment he was gald he did.
