Brandon was somewhat sadden when she avoided his statement all together.maybe she did not get what I was saying?[/color] thougth Brandon to himself. This was the first time tonight he had hit and missed with Liz. It hit his ego that she did not want to spend more time him or even allow him to take her home. But he faked a small laugh with her she spoke about her plans for the rest of the night. So he knew it woul dmany nights of dating and woeing Liz before anything happened.
But he was shocked that she asked him to walk her home. He had thought she did not want to spend more time with after the dead family talk. But was happy that she was wanting more time with him. A small piece of Brandon wanted more time with her as well. "Well I would love to walk you home." stated Brandon trying not to sound corny again."Well, it does not really mater." "But I do have to go in a little early tommorrow so what about now?" asked Bradnon ready to get her outside all alone.

Lizzie felt a lot better after everything she had wanted to say came out of her mouth. She felt even better when he agreed to walk her home. Some big part of her didn't want to say bye yet. "Okay. We can leave now. Just let me go get my jacket and tell them that I'm leaving." She said. She hopped off of the stool and nearly ran to the back to grab her jacket. She opened her small locker and pulled out the light beige jacket and matching purse. They were her favorite. She spent a few seconds trying to track down her dad in the back, but she couldn't find him anywhere. She guessed that he had went on a break or had already headed home. Oh well. She would just tell Bart and be on her way.
Walking back out into the still crowded club, Lizzie saw Bart still at the bar. She made a beeline for him, pushing over enthusiatic boys out of her way. "Hey Bart! I'm leaving now. I'll see you later." She told him. He just shrugged again. The man barely ever spoke a word. She made her way back over to Brandon with a smile on her face. "Ready to go?"

"Okay." stated Brandon right before she hopped off the stool. He smiled as he watched her leave and go towards the back of the club. She had a nice walk even at a quickened pace. Brandon was going to have fun with this girl, but he had to remeber to alwasy be the good guy she could trust. He had to gain her trust and he was ready fro the challange. He gave a little chuckle at how fastr she came back out. Then she walked over to the guy at the bar. He wondered was this guy a friend of hers he would need to watch out for. But he let the thought leave as Liz returned back to him.
"Yeah, I am Liz." stated Brandoin with emphasis on her name. He got out of his seat and began to walk towards the door. He could not have planned this better with years of planning, but he would not attck tonight. He needed her gaurd to be competley down and he knew just how to make it that way. He moved closer towards Liz letting his hand brush against hers."So where do you live, maybe we can take a short cut or something." stated Brandon wanting to her reaction to that statment.

Lizzie followed Brandon toward the door, feeling relieved that she didn't need to work anymore. Not that she did much working at the end of the night. It was mainly spent talking to the man at her side. For some reason the thought made her want to giggle. Okay. Now there was definitely something wrong with her. Lizzie just did not giggle or blush. Wait until she tells her sisters about this one. They just wouldn't believe it. She smiled a little as she imagined the looks on their faces when she told them that she had blushed. They would be completely unbelieving. It might be kind of fun.
Lizzie supressed a shiver when his hand brushed hers. It felt strange to have his skin touch hers. Not some creepy don't come near me again strange, but good strange. The thought didn't make sense even to her, but she let it slide. "Well, I'm not sure if there is a shortcut." She hedged, not wanting to let him get away so quickly. "We'll just have to go the normal way. It's about five blocks." She told him, hoping that he wouldn't see through her.

Brandon smiled at her lie, he knew where she leaved and the shortcut other than orbing that the two could use. But she wanted more time with Brandon, and more time she would get. Stepping outside back into the cool air was a little shock for Brandon and he had to readjust himself to the temperature. Brandon dreaded the walk in front of them but it would give him time to see what kind of guy she wanted and what he should not do. He made a mental note to get the power of telepaty after taking her home. This would be a little easier for him to know the things she wanted and did not want.
He looked over at his company and gave her a smile."So Ms Halliwell would you like to play a game with me while we walk?" asked Brandon. He knew or atleast hoped the answer would be yes. She had fallen for everything else so he saw no reason why she woyuld reject his little game. As they he walked he watched her, not just for her answer but to see the type of person she was. It would be very helpful, because he did not want to keep generalizing her with women in general.

Lizzie had had her jacket slung over her arm, but when she walked outside, she realized that she had needed to put it on. She slipped her arms through the sleeves as she walked, feeling better at once. It was uncommonly chilly tonight. It was hardly ever like this in San Fransisco. They had their chilly days, but tonight was just pretty cold. Oh well. Can't do much about the weather. Unless she met someone who could. Though, that seemed unlikely to happen tonight. Lizzie didn't like walking all that much. And it was a long walk ahead. She had turned down the shortcut in favor of more time with Brandon. She didn't regret it, but she hated most forms of excersize. Unless of course it was a sport. Lizzie was pretty competetive.
She frowned for a moment. What kind of game would he come up with? She decided that she wouldn't find out unless she played along. "Sure. Why not? What kind of game are we talking about here?" She asked, now smiling. For some reason, she just couldn't help but trust Brandon. It was another strange thing that had happened tonight.

He notice that he was not the only one that was cold, as he watched Liz put on her jacket. He liked it better of of her, well he was sure he loved the oputfit a lot better on the floor. But he could not tell her that. So he just had to compliment her with something nice. Then she smiled and he knew what to say,"You have a rare and beautiful smile Liz." stated Brandon with a bright smile of his own.
"Just a little fact game to get to know each other." "Its like truth or dare, without the dare and the personal truths." "Does that sound like something you want to play?" asked Brandon with a smile and a questioning look towards Liz. He knew the game would make this walk go faster and would give more information he could talk about with Liz. But he still began to think of how he would wiggle himself into her secret without coming off suspicious.

Lizzie pretended to not notice Brandon observing her. It didn't really make her uncomfortable, but it did make her feel a bit self concious. She didn't mind much. It was just nice to meet a guy who wasn't a complete pig. She looked at him when he complimented her. She thought that she could read the sincerity in his eyes. "Thanks." She said, glad that she didn't blush again. "I could say the same sbout you. Perfect teeth." She gave him another grin.
Lizzie thought that a truth game sounded kind of nice. The idea of getting to know him better made her happy. Which was weird, but she couldn't control it. She smiled at him again. She couldn't help that either. "Okay. That's sounds great. Since you came up with the game, then you get to start. I got nothing right now." She laughed lightly at herself.

Brandon smiled at the comliment, it heard it a lot form girls; but from Liz it was different. She sounded like it was more about meaning it than just trying to say something ot play a game with him. It wa refreshing to hear that."No thanks needed, the truth shoudl always be said." stated Brandon thinking of the irony of his statement. He was feeling guilty of how easy it was for her to be so trustin o fhim so fast. But he also knew of her powers and was not sure if he could take her. She was not as strong with her sisters but that did not make her weak.
"Well lets start off very light, what is your favorite flower?" asked Brandon. He waited for the answe rto make sure he brought soem for tommorrow night. He wanted to hold her hand or make form of contact. But did not want to seem too clingy or anything so an idea popped in his head."Are you cold?" asked Brandon.

Lizzie frowned. He was right. The truth should always be told, but there were some truths that she just couldn't tell him. Not yet anyway. She didn't want him to run from her screaming like a maniac who was about to be blown up. Wich is exactly how she expected him to feel if she told him that she could in fact blow things up. It wasn't something that most people would feel reassured about. "I guess you're right on that one." She said, with an attemp at a smile. She felt like she was deceiving him and she hardly even knew him.
Then she smiled for real. "White roses. I just think they are really pretty." She shrugged slightly. "My turn and I'll start off easy too. What is your favorite color?" She was thinking along the same lines of Brandon, though she didn't know it. She would be wearing his favorite color to dinner the next night. She nodded when he asked if she was cold. "It's really chilly out here tonight. That's kinda weird." She shivered as if making the fact known.

Brandon was intrigued by the fact that the white rose was her favorite flower. Most girls picked red roses, which he was glad that she was different. He hated red roses they were overdone and too cliche for him. Other times you would hear daisies or some random unheard of flower. But white rose some how suited Liz well. "I agree very beautiful and elegant, just like you." stated Brandon.
He was glad that she was starting off easy with him. She seemed like the type that could walk all over a guy. Even though he was not the push over type, he still like an agressive woman. "No fair you stole my next question.....but mty favorite color is red." stated Brandon before Liz said her last statment. He moved over closer to her and put his arm around her and slightly moved her closer to his warmth.

Okay. That was just unfair. It was like Brandon was actually trying to make Lizzie blushed. She tried to fight it, but it was completely unavoidable this time. Her face turned rose colored as she smiled a little. "Thank you." She mumbled. "That's a very sweet thing for you to say." Not like she hadn't heard similar comments before, but this time it felt more special. Maybe because she thought that he wasn't just saying it to get her in bed. Most guys would.
Lizzie laughed. "I'm guessing that now I have to tell you my favorite color. Well, it's green." She told him, almost having forgotten about her blush. "My turn again. Umm, here comes a stupid one. What kind of music do you like? Or do you not like music at all?" She asked. It was a mixture for her, depending on her mood. There were times when she loved music, then there were the times when she hated it.

Brandon was getting a bit cocky by the way Liz kept blushing at the things he wa ssaying to her. It was the truth, he was starting to really think what kind of guys was she used to. He really did not care becasue none of them could compare to him. He would be her dream knight in shining armor. Which was a favorite pick up line he often used on girls. "I am just being honest with you and I hope you do the same." said Brandon as he leaned his head closer to hers. He was likign the feeling of being so close to LIz, it was something that would not take much effort to get used to.
Brandon was going to ask her about her favorite color, when she just answered the question without being told. He liked that it was a big turn on to him and was suprised that such a good witch was so fiesty. "Its not a stuipid question, I have had seen people break up over music tastes." stated Brandon refering to a television show he had seen a while ago."But to nswer your question I like all types of music but i really am a lyrical person and really like songs with good lyrics." "My turn again, what type of music do you not like?" asked Brandon with a smile.

Lizzie unconciously snuggled herself closer to Brandon. He was so warm. She didn't feel cold at all anymore. This she could get used to. He was sweet and warm. now this was just unbelievable. She smirked to herself. Now she was already getting used to it. Not too good. Oh well. She'd enjoy it while it lasted. She was obviously not very optimistic when it came to guys. "I wouldn't ever lie to you. I'm not the lying type." She told him, being completely honest. She would never lie about who she really was, she would just avoid his questions. Not much better than lying, but what else could she do?
Lizzie looked up at him and smiled. "Yes. I like good lyrics too. What kind of music I don't like...hmm..." She thought about it for a moment. "Heavy Metal. Well, and rock that isn't classic. I'm not a fan. You can hardly understand the words!" She laughed. Then tried to think of a good question. "What color eyes do you prefer on a girl?" She asked, just an errant question to try to find out what kind of girl he liked.

This was going great. He had also slowed his pace so that it would take just a little bit more time with Liz. "You do not seem like it." replied to her statment. But he knew they would be lying to each other. They already were lying him about being a demon and her about being a witch. He loved irony of the converstion it made him smile. But both had reasons for their secret his was his life and hers was becasue of rules. But either way he was not believing much of that stament/
"Never really thought about a perferance, its more important what see in them." "But i will go with brown eyes, they seem more sweet and ginuwine." said Brandon as he felt Liz snuggle closer to him. She felt good next to him and he liked the feeling.
