Lizzie laughed. It was so fun to remember days like the Halloween when they didn't have demons pestering them every five seconds like they do on most days. It had been a good day. Lizzie and Sophie had talked Maddie into drinking and the girl just kept going, even when her sisters had stopped. It had been entertaining to see her dancing like an idiot, dressed up like a monkey. "Okay fine. Orb away to hot guys and beaches. But you're taking me with you. And I don't think that Sophie would like being left behind either. Where would you go anyway? The Bahamas?"
Lizzie clutched at a stitch in her side that was hurting because she was laughing so hard. "Of course you don't remember it." She calmed down enough to say, though her voice was still breathless. "It's hard to remember anything when you've had that much whiskey. I'm just shocked that you didn't run down the street dancing. At least you kept it indoors." She shook her head. "Yes. You were on tables. Though, I have to say, you don't dance any better when drunk than you do when you're sober." She laughed again.

Maddie blamed her sisters. Completely. She was supposed to be the mature one, but they managed to make her drink, and she managed to lose a full day because of it. She'd even tried looking behind the fridge for it, after all - if you lose something, it's nearly always there. It was the rules. Money went under the sofa cushions, and every day things, like days, went behind the fridge...pshh. "Maybe not the Bahamas, unless you really wanted to go there...?" She didn't like the sound of that place, but as long as it had all of her requirements, it was good enough for her.
"...Sometimes, I wonder what I did for you to embarrass me that way." She said, "I'm a very good dancer I thank you. I know I am... and how did I get on a table?" Maddie herself, was shocked she hadn't stripped off and ran down the street... nevermind danced down the street.

Lizzie was still laughing at the memory. It was one of the best times that they had ever had. Of course, at the time they had been too young to drink. They hadn't cared. They had sneaked some of their parents' whiskey while they were out at a Halloween party at P3. It wasn't easy to hide their drunkenness from their dad, but they had somehow succeeded, probably because maddie had been passed out by the time their parents had come through the door. It had been a good night. Now they were old enough to drink, and they hardly ever did it. "It's completely up to you. I wouldn't care where we go. Maybe we should plan a vacation sometime soon. It would be nice to get away." She sighed.
Lizzie pretended to be offended. "I had no hand in your embarassment. You did that all on your own. We only talked you into drinking a little. You're the one who decided that you had to polish of the bottle. We didn't tie you down and tip it down your throat." She laughed again. This was turning into a fun lunch. "You climbed up on the table. Fell down a couple of times in the attempt, and started to dance all on your own. All we did was laugh."

Maddie shook her head again. Evil sisters, making her drink, she was innocent til then, but at least she'd somewhat behaved...somewhat. She had always wondered how she'd gotten that cut on her knee though, she'd saw it when she'd woken up. It had confused her. Maddie nodded, "It would be, but do we have time to go on holidays? What with all the attacks and the Source and stuff?" She asked softly, not really wanting to think about it too much.
"I still blame you," She said, "You could have took the bottle off me when I started to drink it all." She weren't taking the blame because her sisters made her lose her immaturity that night. At least they'd gotten a few laughs outta it.

This was just great. Lizzie thought it was hysterical that Maddie was trying to pin all of this on Lizzie and Sophie. Though, she had to admit that if it had been her, she probably would have done the same thing. "I don't think the Source will be making any moves any time soon. He has to think up a strategy. And the demons would just have to learn to take a break. Vacation would be nice for us. Even if it was just for a day or two." Lizzie said knowingly.
"Yes. Blame us." Lizzie said, nodding to encourage her sister. It was just a bluff. She knew that Maddie knew the truth. She just didn't want to admit it. "We couldn't have gotten that bottle from you if we tried. Plus, dad would have noticed if we had spilled liquor on the floor. It would have stunk up the house."

Maddie grinned again, and sighed, she was still blaming them. No matter what Lizzie said. "A holiday really does sound nice... all three of us together without having to worry about the demons, or the club, nothing." It sounded like the thing all of them needed, but it was whether they could actually take the holiday. They all had school and jobs, it might be difficult. But like Lizzie had said, they could go for a day or two.
"You had powers, you could have so gotten the bottle." She sniffed, trying to find a way to blame them. She wasn't accepting any blame for the fact her sisters had pushed her hand and made her drink.

Lizzie completely agreed. It would be so nice not to have to worry about studies and work for just a day or two. "You're so right. I would love to be able to have a day without all the worry going on around here." She sighed deeply. The fact is that every time they had tried to take a vacation they had always been called back by the time they had got there. It was always so frustrating.
"You're the one that has the power to orb things away, not us." Lizzie told her truthfully. "We aren't allowed to use our powers on each other, remember? What did you want me to do? Blow you up?" She laughed lightly. She would never do that.

Maddie sighed softly, "It really would be nice, but do you think we'd even be able toget there this time before someone tells us to come back? We could Orb there." She liked Orbing, it felt all weird... but cool at the same time. It was something she just couldn't explain.
She thought for a moment, "Yeah, actually, you should have blown me up. It wouldn't have hurt as much as waking up with a hangover did. The sun really had it out for me that morning." It was a spoilt little bugger, and she'd hated it ever since.

Lizzie sighed with her sister. "Yeah. Every time we've ever tried to go on vacation, we get called back before we even get there. It's so rude. But I think it's worth a try. If we orb it should be a lot easier to get there. Maybe we'd be able to have a drink before we get called back." She smiled, trying to make a bit of a joke out of the situation. It really wasn't funny at all, but if she didn't laugh about most things, she'd explode.
She shook her head again. "I couldn't blow you up. Can you think of the mess it would make? People asking question...no body to bury...no Power of Three. It would just be two much for us to handle." Lizzie winked at her sister. "And if you didn't want to have a hangover than you should have taken some asprin before you went to bed like I told you. Obviously you don't listen anymore when you're drunk than you do when you're sober."

Maddie laughed, "Don't push it. We won't get to drink the drink, we'd just get to order it." They should hand in their notice. Quit being the power of three. Be normal people with weird powers... that would be much cooler, and a lot easier in her opinion. Nice relaxing holidays, not having to repair the house every week... perfect.
"We all know, when I went to 'bed', I was sat in the bath with a bottle... i slept in the bath for most of the night, if I remember correctly. Got out of it just before dawn." She shook her head, good times, man, good times.

"Ha! We'd probably get half way through ordering the drink. Like 'I'd like a Vodka on- Time to go!' What would they do if we just ignored the call and they had to look after the innocents themselves. It wouldn't kill them to do it for a change. Daddy is powerful enough." Lizzie said, honestly. It was true. Their dad is almost as powerful as they were. It was because of him that they were so powerful. It was only fair if they took over the demon fighting for once.
Lizzie smiled. "Are you sure you're remembering correctly? Or maybe you were just dreaming. That tends to happy. Well, I guess that if you slept in the bath it wouldn't have mattered if you wet the bed." At this she bust out laughing again, making a couple of the people closest to them to turn and look.

Maddie laughed, and then thought for a moment, "If we ignored the call, dad would kill us. Literally, and then bring us back just to ground us for a year." It was not worth pissing their daddy off. Plus, he wouldn't do the work, he'd probably send the innocent to them, and make them work on holiday instead.
"...good point. I think I slept in the bath. And I do not wet the bed thank you very much! Even drunk!" Psh, how dare she assume that? ... She was a sensible drunk. She only danced on a table. She didn't go out and rape someone, or strip off for their entertainment, did she now?

Lizzie grimaced for about a second, then she laughed again. "Daddy can't ground us! We are adults now and he would do well to remember it sometimes. Though, he might try. Then things would turn pretty nasty. We'd have to put a spell on dear old dad to make him forget. I'd rather avoid that one, because if he remembered-." She shuddered. She may be a lot more powerful than their dad, but he still scared the crap out of her sometimes.
Lizzie nodded. "I'll give you that one, but it could have happened. Then you would have had a wet hangover. The worst." She shook her head. She had never had one herself. For some reason, she just didn't get hangovers, no matter how much she drank. Though, she knew a couple of friends who had done so. It was always so funny to hear about it.
