Maddie smiled, she was glad that their dad didn't have to know because Maddie could not be bothered with answering hoards of questions about who this guy was, and what he wanted with 'our Lizzie'. Dads were so annoying. Mummy was more understanding. So much more. She liked them dating.
"Hmm.. You think you're gonna get to the point where you tell him you're a wicked witch of the west kinda girl?" She asked, with a smirk. Even though it was something they took seriously, Maddie couldn't imagine Lizzie settling down so quick, she was still young and free and all that, and whilst it might annoy dad, it was fun listening to all the different stories about the guys and what they did wrong,a nd why she dumped them...
Scouts honour. Won't touch the hair or the makeup." Maddie promised, doing the scouts sign with her fingers.

Lizzie smiled when she saw Maddie's smile, knowing exactly what she was thinking. Dad was crazy and mom was just fun. Maybe they should have mom distrct dad...No, Lizzie didn't want to put her in that position. They hardly ever fought, which was a good thing, but Lizzie didn't think she could bring herself to put them into position for an arguement.
She laughed out loud. "Yes. Maybe I'll just tell him that I'm the good fairy from the North. Much better than being a wicked witch." Then she got serious. "I don't know if I'll tell him. We haven't even had a real date yet. Though, it would be nice to finally date someone who could know the real me. Not the me that loves working on cars and shopping. But the arse kicking, demon fighter." She loved to think of what they did in that way. "I think it would be a nice change for all of us."
"You better." She said, trying to sound stern. "Or I'll put a spell on those fingers to make them stick together."

Maddie just shook her head, sometimes Lizzie came out with such weird stuff, but by God she could be funny. She supposed that, somewhere and at some level, Maddie agreed. It would be nice to be able to date a guy who knew the real them. That was one of the main reasons Maddie didn't bother to date, she didn't like the fact that more than half her life would remain a secret from the person she was supposed to like. She didn't say anything on that subject, it was one that was better left on a light note.
"Glue my fingers together, and I'll give you pimples, right before you leave." She threatened mockingly, wiggling her fingers in front of her as if sending some sort of magical wave to her sister. Mwaha.

Again, Lizzie knew exactly what Maddie was thinking. This was why Maddie didn't like dating all that much. Maddie wasn't the kind of person who liked keeping secrets from people. She was a very open girl who would love nothing more than to be able to show the world the real her. Lizzie was the same way. She thought that maybe it ran in the family. Maybe that was why she was always dumping guys before really giving them a chance. They didn't know the real her and how could they like her if they didn't know? It felt strange to come to the conclusion, but like Maddie, Lizzie just let the conversation slide.
Instead she gave a horrified look. "No pimples, please! Anything but the pimples!" She pretened to move farther away from her sister, but she couldn't stop the laugh that escaped her at her sister's wriggling fingers. "You'd better stop. People with think you're some kind of voodoo priestess."

Maddie loved spending time with her sisters like this, it was just ashame that Sophie wasn't here. They hardly got this chance in the house, it was always either working on sorting the place back out after an attack or preparing for an attack. It was somewhat horrid. At least they were unique though.
"Maybe I want them to think that." She said slowly, grinning, "It'd be fun to scare the poor people in here. They wouldn't complain as much if they thought I'd stab a needle through their eye."

Lizzie loved this side of Maddie. The side that didn't mind joking around or letting go of a bit of her maturity. It only happened when they were able to be together without the threat of someone trying to kill them, which was every other week. Sophie was fun too, even when someone was trying to kill them. It was just great to be able to be like this sometimes. They hardly ever got the chance and it made Lizzie feel like she was blowing her sisters off. It wasn't a good feeling.
"Oh yes. Please scare the towns people into going on a string of witch hunts and burning us at the stake." Lizzie smiled and said sarcastically, "That would make us feel so much better about the whole secrecy thing. Then the Cleaners can come in and throw our ashes away." She laughed.

Maddie just rolled her eyes, Witch Hunting was so last century. She let her hands drop though, and they fell down to the table, before she shot a grin at her sister, "It'd beat all the demons trying to kill us. A load of humans chasing us with pitchforks and flaming torches." She said, slowly. Psh, they needed something new to do, it was getting boring. Plus, Demons could not figure out how to use a door bell. They always either just poofed in there, or burst through a window/door/wall... whatever took their fancy.
"Yeah, think about it though, if they burn us, we wouldn't have to keep it a secret no more, and we wouldn't have to worry about dating problems..." Hey, she liked that idea.

Lizzie gave an unladylike snort. Though, she couldn't help but agree.I would make a nice change. Humans instead of demons hell bent on demolishing their house. Lizzie was surprised that it was still standing. "You've got a point there, little sis. Humans would be fun. We could mess with them a little before they burned us." Her face lit up with humour. "I could so blow up a few things in front of them and you can throw things. Would be fun to watch their faces." She laughed.
Lizzie frowned. "Anything to get out of dating, huh? You would stoop to almost any level to avoid your legions of admirers." This might have been overstating things a bit, but it was true that Maddie had a string of guys who wouldn't mind the smallest chance to get her alone.

Maddie grinned, "You could also freeze them...yano, so we wouldn't burn... and then we could orb our asses out of there... just to really make them wonder." She was considering Glamouring herself and messing with a few humans just to see what they'd do... it'd pass some time. Although, she knew that she wasn't allowed to do that and would probably get in masses off trouble off the elders and her dad, and her mum... and everyone else so it just wasn't even worth it in the long run.
"I'd do anything to escape dating." She wasn't too sure where her sister got the idea from that she had admirers, because she really didn't think she did.

"Ha! I could so freeze the flames and you could glamour to make it look like someone else is burning. Or I could freeze the flames and we can stand very still to make them think that all of time had frozen but them. Would totally freak them out." Lizzie like sitting here and talking like this with Maddie. These things were so much fun to talk about even if they would never do them. Their parents would kill them for one, and the Elders would resurrect them and then kill them again. Stupid Elders with their stupid Personal Gain laws. Sometimes Lizzie thought about cheating, but it wasn't worth it.
Lizzie grinned. "Yes. I believe you have proven that. You would probably orb me under a bus if it would stop guys from hitting on you." She shook her head as if apalled. She knew that Maddie would do no such thing.

Maddie just laughed and shook her head, she loved chatting to her sister this way, and it wasn't the first time that she'd wished they were normal people, they wouldn't have to worry and they could be carefree. Maddie was a worrier, and it was mainly because whenever all three of the sisters were together, nothing good ever happened. It got tedious after a while to the point where Maddie just wanted to go down there, and threaten the damn Source, and give him a bitchslap...or three. She knew she couldn't though. She usually got this idea when she was half asleep... going down there in pink, fluffy pajama's wouldn't be inconspicious at all..
"You could...but once they figured it out, they'd more than burn us." Even if Humans did try to kill them, it would be hard work for them what with the powers all three had. Their grandma and her sisters had been powerful, but Lizzie, Maddie and Sophie out powered them instantly, they each had a fair few good, useful ones. "I'd orb me under a bus if I thought it would get me out of dating forever." She added, seriously.

Lizzie just shook her head with a slight smile on her face. It would be funny to see humans try to kill them. The poor things wouldn't even be able to catch them! Not unless they had killers waiting wil pitchforks and torches in every city in the world. All the girls could orb and it would be only too easy to get away. From humans that is. Demons were a completely different story. Though, they hardly ever ran away from demons. Those they could vanquish, but all humans were considered innocents and they couldn't kill them, even if they sometimes wanted to.
"You mean they could try to do more than burn us. It would be very hard for them to catch us." She told her sister with a grin. This conversation was completely pointless, but still fun. Then, Lizzie tried to look stern. "No more talk of orbing anyone underneath a bus. Unless, of course, we're talking about demons."

Maddie rolled her eyes at her sister, but smiled. She did have a point, they wouldn't ever actually be able to catch them unless the sisters wanted to be caught. Maddie couldn't speak for the rest, but she knew she didn't wanna be. It would take the fun out of everything. Plus, they'd look weak if they ran from humans. They couldn't have that... demons already thought they could win. They didn't, and couldm't, win though. They never did. It was getting too easy... and they had all the help off their aunts from the book.
"True... we could orb to some nice, sunny place, with beaches, and gorge guys, and sand... get away from the demons and humans." Psh, now she wanted to go to some place sunny. Shame, it wouldn't happen, too much to do around here first. "Fine. No orbing people under buses, or talking about it..." Her sister never said she couldn't think about it though. "But if any guys ask for my number, I'm giving them yours." Mwaha. She reigned again.

Lizzie smiled again. A nice sunny beach with gorgeous guys, now that sounded like the place for her. It was true that Maddie probably said that just to get her attention, but she didn't care. Maddie didn't really care if a guy was gorgeous or not, as long as he was sweet and honest. Lizzie could see her point, though it did help when the guy was hot. She had promised herself not too long ago to not date guys just because she thought that they were good looking. So far, this had worked out well. She hadn't dated in awhile, though she was tonight. She tried not to think about it. She was hardly ever nervous and the thought of tonight's date made her so.
"You forget, my dear sister, that we live in a sunny place with beaches. Though, the gorgeous guys are far from plenty." Lizzie laughed at her own joke. It was true. Guys here could just be jerks and that took away from their appearance considerably. Her eyes narrowed. "Give them my number and I'll hack your Myspace and put up all those pictures of you dancing, drunk, in that furry monkey costume from last Halloween." She threatened.

Maddie had to laugh, even if she didn't remember the day her sister was talking about. She did remember waking up on the 1st of November with the worlds worst hangover though...that was bad, she hadn't liked that. She still thought it would be funny to give the guys Lizzie's number. Let her get pestered, and hate it. She'd understand Maddie's reaction, and why she didn't bother with half the jerks. "Exactly. I wanna go to a place where theres sand, sun, beaches and guys. Not one or the other, here. If I've gotta orb far away, I'm going somewhere good."
"...I remember no monkey costume..Or being drunk... or even last halloween." At least she was telling the truth, "Ahh well, put them up, it'd be a laugh... was I dancing on a table?" She hoped that her drunk self was a good dancer, because god knew that her sober self was not.
