"Finally," Lizzie said out loud to herself, heaving a huge sigh. Her classes were finally over. It had been a huge pain to sit through lectures when she knew that she had better things to do. She could be at home researching. Her and her sisters had recently found out that another demon was after them. Big surprise! But it was still an important thing. It had been so hard for her to sit still in class while waiting for the clock to speed up. She had hardly taken in a word any of her teachers had spoken. Her notes were sadly lacking. She knew she would regret that later when she sat down to do her homework, but she really didn't give a darn at the moment.
Lizzie made her way to the parking lot, walking slowly for all of her worrying. A big part of her didn't even want to go home, but where else would she go? She didn't really have a choice. It was just life. Hard, long, and frustrating. Just like it was for everyone else. She turned the corner at the curb and walked headlong into someone else. "Oops. I'm so sorry!" She said, bending down to pick up her fallen books. You need to learn to watch where you walk, Lizzie, she scolded herself.

Ryan waited as the last class finished for the day, standing up he looked around as he watched the other students head out. Ryan felt it to be weird going to university and all he wondered if the he would ever get the call from the other whitelighter’s it seemed to them that they were still mad at his father all these years and if Ryan wanted he could easily orb up there. Ryan walked out of the classroom carrying his backpack with his books in them. Now that he had the afternoon off all he had to do was to head over to his dorm then hit the streets and wait for the next demon to attack him, yeah great night ahead of him though he could always head for the nightclub he herd about. P3 Ryan believed that the nightclub was called, he had herd that the club was pretty good and it’s been around for a while too. Ryan walked through the parking lot, he had to walk through it to get to his dorm. It happened fast he felt someone bump into him he lost his balance and fell over onto the ground. Looking around he spotted a girl speaking to him, she looked cute. “No that’s alright, no harm darn here let me help.” Ryan replied as he picked up a couple of books for the girl. “I’m Ryan, I don’t think we have met before. I wouldn’t forget the face.” Ryan explained as he handed the books to the girl.

Lizzie smiled at Ryan. He seemed like a nice guy. "I'm Lizzie. It's nice to meet you. Even if it was in an embarassing way." She laughed at herself. It was just so like her to get caught up in her thoughts and walk into something. This wasn't the first time she'd done it, but it was the first time she'd ever walked into a stranger. And a cute stranger at that. She berated herself silently. It was just stupid. But, she guessed it was better than walking into a door. That would just plain hurt.
"Thanks." Lizzie said as he helped her pick up her books. There were a lot of them. "So, are you new around here? I've never seen you before either." She said. She knew almost everyone in town. It was hard not to when your parents owned the hottest night club in the city.

Ryan smiled at Lizzie’s reply. “Don’t be embarrassed happens to the best of us.” Ryan replied as he continued to help with her books. “It’s no problem at all.” Ryan added in as Lizzie thanked him for helping her pick up her books that she dropped by accident. Ryan looked back towards Lizzie when she asked him if he was new hear, well it was true after all. “Yeah moved in yesterday. I lived in Las Vegas all my life though decided to take up university here at San Francisco, how about you? Are you from hear?” Ryan asked. “So have you herd of this nightclub, P3? I was given this pamphlet this morning and was told that it’s the best nightclub in town.” Ryan asked showing Lizzie the pamphlet he received earlier in the morning. “Was thinking of going there latter.” Ryan added in as he turned towards Lizzie.

Lizzie laughed lightly, "Yes. Born and raised. Can't seem to get away from this place." The truth was that there were so many more demons in the city of San Fransisco and the house she lived in just happened to contain a Nexus and most of those demons wanted nothing better than to kill her and her family. Though, of course she couldn't say any of that to him, but it was fun to think the words all the same. It made her feel a bit better about it all. Making jokes out of it.
Lizzie's eyes widened as she took the pamphlet. She and her sister Sophie had actually made them. "Of course I've heard of it. My dad owns it and I work there most nights. It is normally packed with lots of people. Does seem to be the most popular place in town." She said, shrugging.

As Ryan listened to Lizzie he smiled he wished he could be more open to people but at most he had to lie or make up some excuse of where he goes because of his abilities though he shouldn’t really think that way all the time. “I felt the same at Las Vegas but glad I ended up coming hear for university instead.” Ryan replied. Ryan looked around to make sure that they hadn’t missed any books that Lizzie had dropped earlier, though Ryan couldn’t see any he looked back towards Lizzie once more. “Well I think that’s all of you’re books. I can't see anymore on the ground.” Ryan explained. Ryan continued to listen to Lizzie as she explained that she in fact knew about the nightclub that he was talking about before and to his surprise her father owned it. “You’re dad owns it? That’s awesome that your work there as well.” Ryan replied.

Lizzie nodded as he explained a little about his move. She had a feeling that there was something more, she had great intuition, but she over looked it. "Well, I hope we live up to your expectations," She said with a smile. She looked around as well. It was easy to see that all the books were picked up. There had been so many of them that it wouldn't have been a surprise to see a couple under the nearest car. "Yup. That would be all of them. I can't believe how many books it takes to go to four classes." She said, shaking her head.
She laughed lightly. "Yeah, my dad owns part of it. My uncle owns half as well. My grandmother founded it and when she died, my dad and uncle took it over." She sighed inwardly. The thought of her grandmother's death still got to her sometimes. They had been pretty close. "Working there is pretty awesome most of the time. I get to meet famous bands and stuff. Though, when it's packed, it gets kind of repetitive."
{{What do you think about a demon attack soon? That way they can find out about each other?}}

Ryan continued to listen to Lizzie he laughed at her reply about his decision to leave Las Vegas to move to San Francisco. “So far I’m liking what I see.” Ryan replied smiling. “I thought that I was over studying when High School finished now there’s more books in one class hear than back at High School its nuts.” Ryan lifted his backpack up a little so it would sit more comfortably on his shoulder, the backpack was falling down of his shoulder before. Ryan looked around the area before turning back towards Lizzie as she spoke once more. “Its nice to think that some families still have their own family business.” Ryan explained. Ryan smiled as he thought that his family business was taking out the occasional demon that attacked them only because his mother was a witch and his father was a whitelighter Ryan gathered. “It sounds really cool that you get to meet famous bands, I met a few bands when they came to Las Vegas to play but that’s pretty much it.” Ryan explained. Ryan herd something, it sounded like a branch snapping as someone stood on it though Ryan wasn't quiet sure. "Did you hear that?" Ryan asked looking around. {{Sounds great, I've set it up for a demon attack}}

Lizzie grinned. "Well, I'm glad your liking it so far." She nodded when he talked about the books. He was so right. There were many more than High School. It was a bit ridiculous. "Tell me about it." She said, with a roll of her eyes. She nodded again at his comment about family businesses, but didn't comment farther. What he didn't know was that there were two businesses in her family. A night club and a resteraunt. Both attracting great business. She thought it would make her sound stuck up if she pointed this out. She laughed again. "Yeah, meeting some them is great. Others are just downright jerks." She said, shaking her head. This was so true.
Lizzie heard the noise the same time as Ryan. It seemed to be coming from the left side of the parking lot. Without warning, a fireball flew at her from that direction. She jumped out of the way, but it grazed her arm. She swore loudly. Then she saw the demon. "Get down!" She yelled at Ryan, pushing him out of the way as yet another fire ball flew at them. She dived out the way. She raised her hands and tried to blow him up. Her aim was off. Though, so was his arm.

Ryan smiled when he herd Lizzie’s comment, he was glad that class was over now and he could dump his bag full of books. Listening further Ryan nodded in reply he fully understood what Lizzie meant that some bands could be jerks. “Yup you can get a few bands that just ignore you completely, I believe they’re only out there making music for the money and the fame.” Ryan replied back. Ryan was enjoying the conversation with Lizzie as time went by, though he was more concerned about the noise he herd before and it seemed that Lizzie herd it as well so it was good to know that he wasn’t hearing things. Ryan herd Lizzie yell he turned and saw a fireball coming their way, watching as Lizzie jumped out of the way Ryan did the same thing. Ryan felt Lizzie pushing him away as the fireball flew closer towards them. “Great you guys really know when to pick the time to show up don't you.” Ryan yelled back as he stood up. Ryan created a ball of fire in his hands and threw it towards the demon without thinking that Lizzie was right there with him. Ryan watched as the demon dodged his fireball. Ryan saw the demon launch another fireball at him though he didn’t have the time to orb out of the way. The fireball hit Ryan’s chest and sent Ryan flying into a car.

Lizzie stared at Ryan when he spoke. It seemed that he knew about demons. She let her mind wander for aminute, not a good idea, wondering what he could be. Her eyes grew round as she watched him make and energy ball out of thin air and throw it at the demon. Her gaze turned from shock to horror as she watched the demon throw a fire ball straight into Ryan's chest, throwing him back into a car. Okay, now this was getting out of hand. If blowing you up won't kill you, this sure will, she thought as the demon turned back to her. She shot electricity out of her hands straight at the demon. He rose into the air, shaking violently, then exploded in a puff of smoke. Glad that it was over, Lizzie ran to Ryan and began to heal him instantly. "Are you okay?" She asked, without giving him a chance to breathe. Her mind was reeling. Why would a demon attack here?

Okay so fireballs and hitting cars really hurt, Ryan thought to himself as he tried to stand up and help Lizzie battle this demon. The fireball was stronger than what Ryan thought he just sat there as he watched Lizzie, his eyes looked from her to the demon he wondered why he attacked hear of all places. Ryan’s thoughts wondered to Lizzie she didn’t act scared or frightened like any other normal human would be which meant that Lizzie knew about demons as well as himself. Ryan continued to watch the battle before him unable to do a thing to help though he saw Lizzie shot out electricity from her hands and within seconds or so the demon blew up. Ryan was now confused but grateful that Lizzie was now healing his wounds. “I’m fine how about you?” Ryan asked wondering where to begin the explanation that they both had to explain. “So demons attack you too?” Ryan asked breaking the ice so to speak.

Lizzie laughed, looking down at her arm. It was bleeding slightly from where the fire ball had grazed. "I'm fine. I'll get someone to heal me when I get home." She took a first aid kit out of her backpack. "Always good to keep one handy." She told him with a wink. She pulled out a bandage and stuck it to her arm. "There." She put the kit back into her bag and looked at Ryan again. There was a lot to explain. For the both of them. She laughed again. It was easy to do now that there wasn't a demon about to kill them both. "Yeah. It's kind of an occupational hazard when you're Charmed." She said with a shrug. "How about you? It seems like you got a bit of power behind you as well." She said with another wink.

Ryan felt better now that Lizzie had healed him, though he did wonder why Lizzie didn’t heal herself as well. Ryan laughed at Lizzie’s comment about having a first aid kit handy. “Yeah should’ve thought about that years ago.” Ryan replied laughing. Ryan found the energy to stand up he took the chance to look around to make sure there wasn’t another demon about to attack them. Ryan listened to Lizzie’s next comment about being charmed, he wondered what that meant he had never herd of it before well used in that way. “Charmed? What do you mean by that?” Ryan asked wanting to know a bit more information. Ryan smiled as he watched Lizzie wink as him. “I’m half witch half whitelighter. I inherited my abilities from my parents like my brother and sisters did as well.” Ryan explained.

Lizzie nodded. "It's smart thinking. And I can be smart...sometimes." She said giggling slightly at her own joke. Her arm stung a bit. She wished she could heal herself. Stupid rules. Stupid whitelighters can't heal themselves rule passed on to her and her sisters. Again, stupid. She shook her head to bring her back to the present. "Oh. Charmed. I meant that My sisters and I are the Charmed Ones. Have you ever heard of the Power of Three?" She asked him. Most people didn't get it when she used the term another way. Sometimes all you had to add was the Ones. Though, most people thought that the Charmed Ones were dead. Which was true. The original ones. "My grandmother and grandfather were witch and whitelighter. My dad is a hybrid, like you. My mother is just a really long story." She told him.
