Maddie had been sent down to get some Ingredients for a potion, but the only problem was that she could not, for the life of her, remember what her sister had said they needed... so she had a plan, which involved getting random things and hoping for the best.
She walked in to one of the local apothecaries, in the middle of china town, having parked her car around the corner, and looked around, the smell greeting her in an unkind way. She'd always hated the smell of these places, all the ingrediants mixing together to form one was not a pleasant thing.
Scouring the shelves, she placed in the roots, and herbs that she recognised, and a few that sounded like they'd be useful... she didn't want to end up getting completely the wrong stuff and have to come back out here tomorrow, it wasn't as close as you'd think, and Maddie always felt ill afterwards, maybe she was allergic to the smell? Would her sisters believe that? No, they'd just think she was lazyy.

Samantha had looked at her pantry. It was running low on supply. She had to head to China Town to get more supply. If she didn't stalk up now. When there was a situation she might not come out alive if she didn't prepare. She got what she needed, all the supply was going to add up, it was worth it. She knew that the human world didn't know about the magical world and it should stay that way. The human world wasn't ready to know about the magical world.
Samantha saw a young woman who was also getting supply. She was also a witch, she had that vibe around her. Samantha didn't want to scare her off.
"Excuse me, could I trouble you for some advice." Samantha asked, she didn't know exactly what advice that she wanted to ask. She felt drawn to the young woman, like the two at Golden Gate Park. She wondered if this young woman was part of the Halliwell family.

Maddie turned, half way to placing some Estraphous Roots in to a basket, and smiled at the young girl who'd approched her. ""Hey there," She said warmly, "You sure can. I'm not promising I can be of any help, though." She placed the item in the basket and then turned around, giving the young woman her full attention. She liked helping people, it was why she was glad to be a Charmed one... and that was about the only reason.
"What do you need help with?" It was foggy, in Maddie's brain at least, and she couldn't tell if this woman was a witch, whitelighter. She was most positive that she wasn't a demon though. They usually couldn't be so calm, and it was obvious her mind was young as well as her body.

"I was wondering what would be good for stress and something to relax?Samantha asked. She didn't want to scare this young woman away so soon. Maybe getting advice from a Charmed One would be a good idea. Not that she really needed. Samantha was just seeing if this Charmed One could help her.

Maddie thought for a moment, "Milk thistle, cinnimon, peppermint and calamine," She said, "It tastes horrible, when you mix it together, but it works, instantly." She smiled again, she'd always used that. "It helps to detox your body as well, removed hazordoud and dangerous stuff from your system."

"Okay. Thanks for the advice. So do you come here often? I am usually in here a lot and I have never seen you when I have come to get supplies." Samantha said, curious of what her answer would be.

Maddie shook her head, "My sisters usually come in, whilst I'm at college or working," She said. She did days, where as the other two tended to help out at the club. They did the night time shifts, "Plus, they know how forgetful I am." If the young girl came in here a lot for supplies, then Maddie guessed she was a witch... or something.

"That's cool. Who are you sister? " Samantha asked. She just wanted to get to know all the Halliwell, but she didn't want the Halliwell think that she stalking them or something. She might have to find ways to run into them less. That's what she had to do.

Madelyn smiled, "Lizzie and Sophie Haliwell." Her sisters were amazing, she'd decided. "Got any siblings?" she didn't think there was anything wrong with the girls questioning, she just thought she was curious.

"No, I am an only child. It would have been nice to have an older brother. I met both of your sisters they are very nice." Samantha said. she looked around there wasn't anyone in ear shot. She whispered to Madelyn. "So have there been any increase in demon activity lately?"

Maddie frowned slightly. Witch. She got it, finally. "Well...there's been a few more attacks... but we're not sure what's going on. They've happened around others. So either, they're trying to get innocents, or they just pick really bad times to attack." She said, quietly, back. She figured as long as she didn't give too much away, it couldn't be that bad. "I don't have a brother, and I don't really want one, but yeah, my sisters are nice... when you don't annoy them.. then you gotta hide out for a while."

Samantha heard Madelyn tell her that the attacks have been increasing. Also that she wasn't sure if they were after the Charmed Ones or after the innocents. It was nice to hear that hers and her sisters got along. Of course Samantha always wanted a brother, an older brother to exact. She knew about the Charmed Ones, she knew who they were. She just didn't want to let them know that she knew who they were. "That must not be to fun hiding out from your family." Samantha told her. She was thinking that she needed to go and update her Book of Shadows. She had to find a way to excuse herself. This conversation was interesting, but she had to grab her supply and get to it. You will never know who will need help.

Maddie shrugged, "It's not that bad, it means I know awesome places when we play hide and seek demon." She said with a smile, checking her watch. Urgh. College in two hours, and then work after that. This sucked.

Samantha saw her shrugged and listened to what she had to say. Samantha could tell that she was in a rush, because she looked at her watch. Samantha thought t best if she let her go. She needed to get back and updated her Book of Shadow and make potions so she wouldn't be defenseless. "It looks like you need to be somewhere. I will let you go." Samantha said to her. She didn't want make this young woman late for where ever she needed to go.

Maddie smiled, I've got a while yet, but if you need to be off, don't mind me. I just tend to babble anywayy." She shrugged, and turned back to the shelf. She knew she'd get in trouble off her sisters for talking to a stranger witch, about demons none the less.
